Our board meets at 6:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month. Club members and the public are welcome to attend. Please email us if you plan to attend so we can let you know where we're meeting and make sure the door is open for you (it's locked after hours). In the winter, we meet at Valley Credit Union (207 N Broadway). In the summer, we meet at Veterans Park if the weather is nice.

What to Expect as a Yellowstone Rim Runners Board Member 

The Yellowstone Rim Runners is a volunteer-led organization. In addition to providing governance and oversight, board members play an active role in supporting the club's races, programs, and members. Board members are expected to:

• Attend board meetings regularly, participating in at least 75% of meetings (9 of 12 annually).
• Come prepared by reviewing meeting materials and agendas in advance so discussions can focus on decision-making.
• Support club events by volunteering at a minimum of two races each year.
• Take an active role outside of meetings by serving on at least one race planning committee or assuming an ongoing board responsibility, such as communications, website, membership, social media, trail cleanups, fundraising, or another area that matches your interests and skills.
• Serve as an ambassador for the club by promoting a welcoming, inclusive, and positive environment and helping connect members with club activities and opportunities.
• Contribute your ideas and expertise while working collaboratively with fellow board members to advance the club's mission.
• Maintain a current Yellowstone Rim Runners membership throughout your term on the board. 

We're looking for board members who are excited to help shape the future of Yellowstone Rim Runners and are willing to make a meaningful commitment of their time and talents. Each year, the board also identifies specific skills and experience that would complement the current board and support the club's evolving needs.
