Billings was awarded the BUILD grant this September. This is exciting news for runners because the grant will fund two trails: The Skyline Trail and the Inner Belt Loop trail. The Skyline Trail will run along the top of the rims, eventually connecting Swords Park to Zimmerman Park. A 750-foot section was completed earlier this summer and the grant will allow completion of this trail. The Inner Belt Loop is a road that will connect Wicks Ln to Zimmerman Trail and the plans include an adjacent trail. A construction schedule has not been announced yet.
